Wymondham, Norfolk

Wymondham, pronounced 'Windham' is an historic market town, situated in South Norfolk. It is one of the largest parishes in Great Britain at almost 11,000 acres. The town itself is well known for its abbey, which is the Church of England Parish, and many local tourist attractions.

Wymondham is situated about 8 miles south-east of Norwich, and is one of the largest of the South Norfolk market towns. It is home a number of different shops and businesses, as well as leisure facilities and attractions for visitors to the area. The tourist information centre is held in the historic Wymondham market cross.

Wymondham is also home to the headquarters of the Norfolk Constabulary. They were once found in the town centre, before moving to a new purpose built building. The old headquarters are now used as the town's Heritage Museum.
